A research gap on aggressive driving experiences in Indian environments highlights the need to address this growing concern among individuals, society and mental health professionals. Furthermore, more than half of road rage incidents are found to be caused by the illegal use of high beams on rural roads or highways. In addition, most incidents are caused by the high ground clearance of an oncoming car. Most of the people involved in these cases are young men.
