ABSTRACT

‘The only service to do for our lower classes is to give them Education.’

One of the most important factors in a nation’s development is education. Every child has a fundamental right to an education since it is essential to their overall well-being. A child’s personal and social growth depends on education since it equips them with the skills, values, and knowledge they need to succeed. The Indian government has introduced a number of programmes and initiatives to raise the standard of education in the nation. These programmes are designed to give all children, regardless of socioeconomic status, equal access to education. However, millions of children worldwide continue to be denied their right to an education despite the fact that it is recognized as a fundamental right. This article will go over the constitutional protections for children’s education as well as how important it is to our society’s future. Also, the article focusses on the objectives, key features, and implementation of those schemes, and how they are working towards improving access to education and the quality of education for children in India.
